Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Saginaw is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem schedule in Saginaw, MI. The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluations, goal-oriented treatment, and collaboration with the Rehab Therapy Department to maintain high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will hold current state licensure as an SLP, be BLS certified (or within 90 days of employment), and may hold the CCC from ASHA. Per diem position with orientation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• CCC from ASHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and swallowing function.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and/or swallowing potential.
• Collaborate with Rehab Therapy Dept to monitor service quality.
• Participate in peer review for staff performance and appraisals.
• Assist in developing SLP programs and updating department policies.
