Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and evaluations for cognitive/communicative and/or swallowing status.
• Develop and implement treatment plans adhering to ASHA standards.
• Assess treatment effects and modify plans for maximum benefit.
• Instruct and review the work of assigned CFYs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other practitioners for patient care.
• Document to maintain quality medical records.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment procedures.
• Participate in Quality Assurance activities.
• Engage in continuing education and certifications.
• Contribute to new program development.
• Attend agency meetings to facilitate operations.
