Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a per diem opportunity in Gaithersburg, MD. You will perform home health visits to adult and geriatric clients across Montgomery County, with duties including evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing care plan revisions.

The role requires MD licensure as an SLP, CCC-SLP or equivalent certification status, and prior home health experience.

Qualifications

• License to practice as Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
• CCC-SLP or equivalent education/work-experience to qualify for certification or waiting for exam.
• Supervised work experience required for certification.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territory.
• Perform evaluations to diagnose and plan therapy for speech, language, swallowing issues.
• Develop and adjust treatment plan based on evaluations and physician orders.
• Document observations and interventions in EMR and care notes.
• Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and independence.
