Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for part-time or per diem home health visits in Glen Burnie, MD. The role serves adult and geriatric patients across Anne Arundel County and involves evaluations, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an MD license to practice SLP in MD and ASHA CCC-SLP or is eligible for certification. EMR proficiency and comfort with home-based care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active MD license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Maryland.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA or eligible for certification.
• Equivalent education/work requirements for certification consideration.
• Strong computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop a treatment plan based on the evaluation, physician’s orders, and recommended goals.
• Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan with the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate and instruct patients, family members, or other representatives in rehabilitative care and activities.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations in an EMR on a tablet.
