Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist, SLP, for a per diem home health role serving Montgomery County and Frederick County regions. The role involves visiting adult and geriatric patients at home, performing evaluations, and developing treatment plans to support safe, independent living.

The ideal candidate holds MD licensure in speech-language pathology, ASHA CCC, and demonstrates proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in MD.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or equivalent.
• Process for CCC/certification described or in progress.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform evaluations to diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement care plan.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and activities for health and independence.
• Document observations and interventions in EMR or tablet.
