Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West is seeking a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve residents in an in-house rehab setting in Texas. The role emphasizes person-centered care and positive outcomes through skilled therapy and collaboration with care staff.

The SLP will evaluate swallowing and cognitive deficits, develop individualized treatment plans, implement AAC strategies, and provide training to residents, families, and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence.
• Provide AAC systems for expressive/language disorders.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBSS, FEES).
• Provide training to clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals.
