Job summary

Concord Hospital Sleep Center is seeking a per diem Polysomnographer to perform sleep studies according to AASM/AAST standards, recording brain activity and physiological variables to assist diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders.

The role requires BCLS certification before independent work, and a flexible schedule that may include overnights. Per diem shift pay is offered with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited polysomnography program.
• A-STEP certificate or equivalent.
• Respiratory therapy degree with A-STEP certification or equivalent AASM credential.

Responsibilities

• Record polysomnograms per AASM/department protocol.
• Document demographics, study data, and consents in patient chart.
• Communicate clinical observations to physician and team.
• Perform shift chart reviews to confirm plan for testing/treatment.
• Maintain and sterilize PSG equipment and CPAP/PAP supplies.
• Conduct PAP titrations per protocol.
• Prepare patients for polysomnographic recording.
• Keep work area clean and prepare rooms for patients.
