Qualifications

• Must have NYS certification in Students with Disabilities Birth-2nd or Special Education.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with families and school personnel.
• Strong organizational skills for keeping track of ongoing paperwork and required meetings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement educational activities to support child's IEP goals.
• Ensure communication and collaboration with parents and therapists.
• Attend IEP/team meetings as needed.
• Complete daily session notes and quarterly/annual progress reports.
• Coordinate team meetings with related service providers.
• Collaborate with supervisor at regular intervals.
