Job summary

Special Education Associates in New York City is seeking compassionate Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEIT) for preschoolers (CPSE) with autism and speech delays. You will deliver individualized services in school, daycare, or home settings.

The role offers up to $85/hour with full-time and part-time options, a flexible schedule, and bi-monthly payroll. A supportive supervisor team provides ongoing mentorship and clinical guidance to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Certification required for NYS SPED Birth-Grade 2.
• Experience serving CPSE preschoolers preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with families and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide SEIT services to preschoolers in school, daycare, or home settings
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each child's unique needs
• Foster communication, social, emotional, behavioral, and academic development
