Job summary

Special Education Associates is seeking compassionate Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEIT) to support preschool children across New York City and ZIP 10458 area. You will deliver individualized SEIT services in school, daycare, or home settings under supervision.

We offer up to $85/hour with a flexible schedule, choose your boroughs, and benefit from strong leadership, mentorship, and twice-monthly payroll—plus health insurance options for 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• New York State Special Education Teacher Certification (Birth-Grade 2) or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience with preschool-aged children (CPSE).
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized SEIT services to preschool-aged children in school, daycare, or home settings.
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each child's needs.
• Foster communication, social, emotional, behavioral, and academic development.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, therapists, and other service providers.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Create engaging, positive learning experiences that help children reach their full potential.

Special Education Associates is looking for compassionate, dedicated Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEIT) to provide services to preschool-aged children (CPSE) with autism, speech delays, and other developmental disabilities throughout New York City and in the 10458 area.
