High Five Cares is seeking a compassionate Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) to work one-on-one with a 5-year-old boy in Bronx after-school hours, from 3pm to 6pm daily. The SEIT will provide personalized instruction and support to help the child achieve academic goals.

The role requires a NYS certification in Special Education and a degree in Special Education or related field, with collaboration to ensure a cohesive learning experience for the student and family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• New York State certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience with children with special needs, preferably one-on-one.
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and ability to implement effective teaching strategies.
