Job summary

• Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
• Current applicable state license in Respiratory Care required.
• RRT certification required. Must have RRT certification to advance to a Level II.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Therapist II role provides independent, high quality respiratory care across a variety of clinical settings and patient populations.
• Independently applies clinical knowledge in most practice settings and can demonstrate clinical reasoning and decision-making.
• Able to assess patients, develop and adjust respiratory care plans, and manage complex patient needs within established standards and protocols.
