Job summary

Stephens Hospital in Maine is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver independent, high-quality respiratory care across diverse clinical settings and patient populations. The role requires strong clinical reasoning and the ability to assess and adjust care plans.

The position requires ARC-approved education, active state licensure with RRT, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as required by the facility, with one year of experience in respiratory therapy preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state license in Respiratory Care required. RRT certification required. Must have RRT certification to advance to a Level II. Current BLS Certification required within 30 days of start date. Current ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop and adjust respiratory care plans, and manage complex patient needs within established standards and protocols.
• Provide independent, high-quality respiratory care across a variety of clinical settings and patient populations.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
