Job summary

MaineHealth’s Maine Medical Center seeks a Respiratory Therapist II to provide high-quality respiratory care across multiple clinical settings. The role requires independent clinical reasoning, assessment, and development of care plans, handling complex patient needs within established protocols.

Eligible candidates may receive a $20,000 sign-on bonus for full-time/part-time roles. Licensed in Respiratory Care with RRT, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required, and at least one year of experience are

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current applicable state license in Respiratory Care required.
• RRT certification required; must have RRT to advance to Level II.
• BLS Certification required within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or within one year of start date.
• Minimum of one year of Respiratory Therapy experience.
