Job summary

Banner Staffing Services-AZ seeks registered nurses for registry/per diem assignments in the Banner Health system. This role supports an Oncology Progressive Care/PCU unit with variable shifts, requiring at least 18 months of RN experience and 12 months on a Progressive Care Unit.

BLS/ACLS may be required upon hire, with orientation and training provided. The position emphasizes flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Forms a plan of care, including discharge planning and goals in conjunction with patient/family.
• Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of staff.
• Evaluates patient and family response to care and teaching; revises the plan as needed.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record; communicates status to team.
• Promotes quality care and participates in shared leadership and improvement activities.
