Job summary

Alps at Wayne Rehab & Care Center in Wayne, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for a per diem role. You will coordinate daily staffing, supervise nursing units, and ensure residents receive top-quality, compassionate care.

The position offers flexibility with a competitive hourly rate of $50. Responsibilities include rounds, care-plan adherence, medication passes, and participation in care committee activities, with opportunities for training and orientation

Qualifications

• Staff coordination during daily staffing and redistribution.
• Make rounds to assess resident condition and prioritize care.
• Perform medication passes and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Support training and orientation of nursing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing and redistribution, as necessary
• Collaborate with charge nurses to exchange information regarding resident care and well-being
• Make rounds to assess resident condition and provide special attention to critically ill residents
• Ensure that individual nursing care plans are followed for each resident
• Perform medication passes and direct resident care as needed
• Participate in resident care committee meetings
• Reinforce training and orientation of nursing personnel and provide positive reinforcement
• Answer emergencies and assist in assuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents, employees, and visitors
