Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking a Per Diem RN Supervisor to join an amazing team. This role oversees care delivered by licensed and non-licensed staff in Continuing Care, ensuring staffing and resident care standards are met on shift.

You will review medical records for regulatory compliance, participate in on-call coverage, coach staff, and lead investigations into incidents.

Qualifications

• RN license in NJ required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Minimum 1 year floor nurse experience in skilled nursing/long-term care.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Walk rounds in Continuing Care neighborhoods to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Review and adjust nursing staffing across neighborhoods to meet demand.
• Review medical records for admissions, incidents, and changes in clinical condition.
• Consult with on-call providers as needed.
• Lead supervision and orientation of new nursing staff.
• Conduct investigations for injuries, medication errors, or abuse as required.
• May fill in as a licensed nurse on the floor during shifts.
• Participate in on-call processes as needed.
