Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, NJ seeks a Per Diem RN Supervisor to oversee resident care delivered by licensed and non-licensed staff in Continuing Care. The role ensures staffing and care standards on shift and reviews documentation for regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include walking rounds across neighborhoods, adjusting staffing, resolving concerns, supervising new staff, and leading investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web applications.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of floor nurse experience in skilled nursing/long-term care/AL or hospital.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform walking rounds through Continuing Care neighborhoods to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Review and adjust nursing staffing to meet care needs and established staffing goals.
• Resolve resident/family concerns and grievances.
• Assist in assessing and resolving clinical changes in condition across neighborhoods.
• Review resident medical records for admissions, incidents and change in condition.
• Consult on-call providers as needed.
• Assist in supervising and orienting new nursing staff.
• Lead investigations into injuries, medication errors or abuse as requested.
• Complete supervisory reports for the Director of Nursing.
• Lead during emergencies and provide coaching and training.
• May fill in as a licensed nurse on the floor during shifts.
• May participate in clinical on-call as needed.
