Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Pre Admission Testing. Qualifications

• Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York (RN license)
• Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Fluent written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong nursing assessment and care planning
• Documents patient data and care interventions
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to implement a patient-centered plan
• Educates patients and families about health status and care plan
• Ensures compliance with NY State Nurse Practice Act and regulatory requirements
• Utilizes EHR tools to educate patients and track learning outcomes
• Contributes to unit throughput and quality/safety metrics
