Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse - Pre Admission Testing. The role focuses on patient assessment, planning and execution of a comprehensive admission process. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care consistent with NYU Langone standards.

Qualifications include a NY RN license, BSN, and BLS. Fluency in English is required, with strong communication and documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse license.
• BSN degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, assess and document patient healthcare data.
• Explain plan of care and expected outcomes to patient/family and include them in the plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement a comprehensive patient-centered plan of care.
• Document interventions and learning outcomes in the EHR and care records.
• Educate patients and families about health status, plan of care and learning needs.
