First Choice Nurses is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for per diem hospital assignments in Hampton Roads, VA. You control your schedule, choosing shifts that fit your lifestyle with day or night options and daily/weekly pay.

Requirements include an active Virginia RN license, 2+ years PCU experience in the last 4 years, BLS/ACLS, and current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test. COVID vaccination or approved exemption is required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required by the hospital assignment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and equipment for PCU patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and families; adapt to different hospital environments.
