First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital opportunities in the Hampton Roads area. You choose when you work, tailoring a schedule that fits your life.

Per diem positions offer day and night shifts with the option for daily or weekly pay in leading acute care environments. Eligible candidates have an active Virginia RN license, 2+ years PCU experience, BLS and ACLS, and meet hospital-specific credentialing requirements.

Competenze

• Active Virginia RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA).
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Mansioni

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in an acute care hospital setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other equipment for PCU patients.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital environments and unit needs.

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current BLS - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA)

Additional credentials may be required based on the hospital assignment.
