Job summary

Wood County Hospital in Ohio is seeking an RN in OB per diem to provide compassionate, evidence-based care onsite. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, document thoroughly, and coordinate with the OB team to support safe, quality outcomes.

Requirements include a Diploma in Nursing or ADN, Ohio RN license at hire, BLS and ACLS within 90 days, PALS and NRP within 90 days; BSN preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or ADN from an accredited school
• RN license in the state of Ohio by time of hire
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days (OB)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Maintain accurate, timely, detailed reports and records.
• Educate patient and family from admission to discharge, considering learning style.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure best outcomes.
