Job summary

Wood County Hospital in Ohio seeks a per diem RN in the Emergency Department to provide patient-centered care guided by evidence-based practice. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and collaborate with the team for timely, safe outcomes.

Onsite role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS/ACLS within 90 days, and PALS/NRP when applicable. You will educate patients and families from admission to discharge and uphold a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma nurse or ADN from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in Ohio by time of hire.
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with other health care providers.
• Educate patient and family from admission to discharge.
• Support culture of safety.
• Work hours per week as per offer letter; extend as needed.
