Job summary

Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, OH seeks an on-site RN for OB per diem to provide high‑quality, patient-centered care across the continuum from admission to discharge.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, with emphasis on accurate documentation, patient education, and collaboration with the care team. Per diem scheduling may extend hours for coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma Nurse or ADN from an accredited school of nursing
• License: Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio by time of hire
• Certification: BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days of hire; NRP within 90 days of hire (OB)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care provided to patients.
• Maintain accurate, timely, detailed reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values, preferences, and needs.
• Educate patient and family from admission to discharge, considering learning style.
• Promote safety and contribute to a culture of safety.
