Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN II) for Medical Day Care on the Saints Campus. This per diem role provides direct nursing care under physician orders and supports the plan of care for a designated patient group.

You will perform assessments, develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while adhering to policies and practices. Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• 12 months to <3 years RN experience.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families.
• Document findings and care provided.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Discharge planning and community referrals.
