Job summary

Nursa is expanding its network of registered nurses offering high-paying per diem RN shifts across hospitals, LTCs, SNFs, and outpatient centers via the Nursa platform.

Join a growing team of RNs providing direct patient care, coordinating care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians. Shift options include 12-hour schedules, with the potential for quick earnings and flexible assignments across Kansas.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience in high-acuity settings preferred (ICU/ER/Med-Surg).
• Knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong organization and communication.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to different facilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect vitals and history; perform exams and monitor tests.
• Record and report patient status using EMR/EHR systems.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and coordinate care plans.
• Supervise licensed practical/vocational nurses and aides as needed.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform wound care and specimen collection; respond to emergencies.
• Prepare shift handoff reports for continuity of care.
• Advocate for patient interests; communicate with care team.
• Educate patients and families on health and self-care.
• Maintain PHI security and infection control standards.
• Document safety events and ensure compliance with policies.
