Qualifications

• RN certification required.
• Caring and empathetic demeanor.
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Enhance clinical care and quality of life for residents.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Check residents daily to ensure proper treatment and monitor status.
• Keep RN Supervisor informed about residents and staff matters.
• Implement changes directed by RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Provide professional services (e.g., catheterization, tube feeding, dressings) as per policy.
• Complete all RN record-keeping forms upon admission, discharge, or transfer.
• Transmit nursing reports at shift start and end.
• Investigate complaints and file reports as needed.
• Maintain professional image in interactions with residents and families.
• Adhere to policies and standards.
