Job summary

The Blue Venture Fund is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Injection Specialist for per diem work. You will administer injections safely, educate patients, monitor reactions, and document outcomes in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinic or hospital. Per diem schedule and $50/hr rate apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the relevant state.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, outpatient or hospital setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections (IM and subcutaneous) per protocol.
• Assess patients prior to injection to ensure safety and appropriateness.
• Educate patients on purpose, benefits, and risks of injections.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and provide interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of injections and patient responses.
• Follow infection control and medication handling guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medications and supplies.
• Stay updated on best practices, new meds, and safety regulations.
• Comply with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
