Ideal Option and Ideal Balance is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in administering injections in Washington. The RN Injection Specialist will administer injections safely and educate patients on treatments, monitor adverse reactions, and maintain accurate documentation.

This per diem role requires strong patient care and attention to safety. This position requires a WA RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic or hospital

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with a variety of injection techniques and medications.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and potential medication interactions.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsabilités

• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections per protocols.
• Assess patients prior to injections for safety and appropriateness.
• Educate patients about injections, benefits, and potential side effects.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
• Document injections and patient responses accurately.
• Maintain infection control and proper medication handling.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure injection supplies and medications are stored properly.
• Stay updated on injection safety guidelines and PHI/HIPAA compliance.
• Complies with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
