Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 3 Float per diem role in the Chicago area. You will cover days or nights in multiple sites including Chicago, Evanston, and Highland Park, with 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts across a 6-week schedule.

Requires1 year of staff nurse experience, IL licensure, and CPR; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed. Premium pay, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits accompany this opportunity within a Magnet-designated network of nursing excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
• One year of staff nurse experience preferred.
• Effective communication and supervision of nursing personnel.
• CPR certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required within six months.
• Psych experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain competency aligned with current standards of practice.
• Collaborate with peers and other professionals to support care delivery.
• Incorporate ethics and evidence-based practice in nursing activities.
• Ensure safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Supervise staff in the provision of patient care.
• Document thoroughly and timely; perform related duties as assigned.
