Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem roles serving Chicago, Evanston, Highland Park locations. All shifts required, including weekends/holidays with travel among sites.

Candidate should have at least one year of staff nurse experience, be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, and hold current Illinois licensure with CPR. Additional certifications may be needed per unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
• Communicates effectively and can guide and supervise nursing personnel.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintains competency reflective of current standards.
• Interacts and contributes to professional development of peers.
• Promotes safety measures to prevent injuries.
• Guides and supervises staff in patient care.
• Documentation is thorough and timely.
