Job summary

CHR’s Roots to Recovery in Willimantic, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse for per diem coverage in a 24/7 residential program addressing substance use treatment. The RN provides nursing assessments, supports clinical care, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and ensure continuity of care for clients.

The role requires CT RN licensure and CPR/First Aid certification (within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure in CT.
• Experience with patients with substance use and mental health disorders.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in 24/7 residential setting.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment and documents observations.
• Participates in treatment planning meetings and case conferences.
• Transports clients within program as needed and coordinates health initiatives.
