Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Nursing from an Accredited Nursing Program and RN Licensure.
• Experience working with patients with substance use and mental health disorders.
• RN license to practice in State of CT.
• CPR & First Aid Certification required OR must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to clients in the 24/7 residential setting.
• Intervenes in client differences or conflicts to maintain a positive milieu.
• Documents planned interventions and observations in client records.
• Monitors medications and assists with administration per policy.
• Provides crisis assessment and behavioral health integration.
• Teaches skills for recovery and daily living.
