Job summary

UCI Health in Orange County is seeking a Case Manager (RN) to help patients by assessing treatment needs, developing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely, effective, and patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, California RN license, and BLS certification, with 3–5 years in acute care and 1–2 years in case management. Strong typing, professional communication, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current California RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting (medical/surgical preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience as a Case Manager.
• Typing proficiency; ability to write and communicate professionally.
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
