Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to provide post-surgical care in its Ambulatory Surgery Center. You will work 40 hours weekly, with schedules including 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, and rotating Saturdays on call.

Requires IL RN license, CPR/ACLS, and preferably PALS within 3 months. Experience in Preop/Postop care is highly desirable; weekend/holiday flexibility and ability to lift up to 35 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with IL RN license.
• Current AHA CPR and ACLS.
• PALS preferred or must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• Experience in Preop/Postop care or related units is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-surgical care (Phase 1, Phase 2) in ambulatory surgery.
• Support preop/postop assessment and recovery within the center.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Skills
