Job summary

Tier 1 offers three 12-hour shifts per six-week schedule and shift diffs, while Tier 2 requires two shifts weekly, holidays, and weekend shifts with higher pay. ACLS is required on hire, and NBRC credentials are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate respiratory care plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes as needed.
• Promote continuous quality improvement within the RT service.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
