Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for per diem shifts, including 2 x 12-hour nights per week and at least 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered and the role focuses on post-ICU respiratory care.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, providing respiratory therapy for complex cases, and supporting quality improvement. Active NBRC RRT or state license, BLS, and ACLS required on hire.

Qualifications

• NBRC RRT credential or state licensure required.
• BLS certification by start date.
• ACLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients and families.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
