Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Cincinnati North is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join as a Per Diem/PRN member of our team at TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. You will evaluate patients, craft treatment plans and deliver respiratory care for complex cases.

We offer a strong orientation, potential for advancement, and a supportive environment with a 12-hour shift schedule (day and night).

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS required upon hire (agency RT must have ACLS on first shift).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
