Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner Per Diem to support patient care across age groups, including infants to geriatrics. You will perform diagnostic tests, initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation, and respond to emergent situations.

The role requires board licensure in New Jersey, NBRC RRT registration, BLS, and PALS with NRP as applicable, plus the ability to work per diem shifts and maintain competency in critical procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved one (1) year Program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Demonstrated competency in care for Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric populations.
• Demonstrated competency in required procedures within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures appropriate to patient age.
• Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation.
• Respond to emergent patient care situations.
