Job summary

Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program with registry eligibility within 1 year and BLS certification is required; strong communication and ability to handle physical demands are essential

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the specific procedure.
• Confirms patient identification and validates identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Positions equipment and patients correctly for each procedure.
• Maintains required records according to department standards.
