Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Per Diem to join our Main Location in Reno, NV. You will obtain high-quality radiographic images for treatment planning and coordinate with medical staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, adjusting exposure settings, screening patients, and maintaining imaging records. ARRT certification and Nevada licensure are required, with 1+ year of experience and familiarity with

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Active Nevada Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• At least 1 year of radiology experience preferred.
• Experience with radiology software and PACS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce images as requested by physicians.
• Adjust exposure settings for optimal image quality.
• Screen patients for safety and explain the procedure.
• Position patients and use shielding to ensure safety.
• Document imaging and charges in EMR/PACS.
• Maintain ARRT/QA guidelines and ensure image quality.
