Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Per Diem to join our Main Location in Reno, NV. You will obtain high-quality radiographic images as requested by clinicians to support patient treatment plans.

Responsibilities include operating radiology equipment, ensuring safety, and documenting imaging in EMR/PACS. The role may require nights/weekends and travel to other ROC locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiology safety procedures and protocols.
• Experience with imaging software and PACS.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images per physician orders (C-arm & fluoroscopy).
• Adjust exposure parameters for optimal image quality.
• Screen patients for safety and explain procedures prior to imaging.
• Position patients and apply shielding to protect patient and staff.
• Evaluate image quality and document results.
• Record imaging performed and charges in EMR/PACS system.
• Maintain ARRT quality control standards.
• Follow QA guidelines for labeling, demographics, and coning.
• Keep radiology area clean, stocked, and organized daily.
• Coordinate workflow with assigned aide and rooms.
