Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to capture high-quality radiographs as requested by physicians for treatment planning at our Main Location in Reno, NV. You will work in a clinical imaging environment, ensure patient safety, and maintain rigorous documentation in EMR and PACS.

This on-site role may require scheduling nights and weekends and travel between clinic locations as needed. ROC emphasizes patient-first care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and Nevada licensure required.
• Knowledge of radiology safety procedures and HIPAA/OSHA rules.
• Experience using radiology software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographic images as requested.
• Adjust exposure settings to obtain optimal image quality.
• Screen patients for safety and explain procedures.
• Position patients and apply shielding to ensure safety.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Document imaging and charges in EMR and PACS.
• Maintain QA in line with ARRT guidelines.
• Follow QA guidelines to ensure optimal images before release.
• Prepare radiology department daily and manage workflow with staff.
