Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV seeks a Per Diem Radiology Imaging Technologist. The role conducts advanced imaging procedures, adheres to ACR/IAC and JCAHO standards, and supports efficient department operations.

Required qualifications include an AAS in Radiologic Technology, ARDMS/ARRT certification, state license as needed, and current BLS. Hospital experience preferred; flexible shifts and weekend coverage may apply.

Qualifications

• Proof of completion of an AAS or equivalent program required.
• Graduate from an accredited program with clinical experience required.
• Must be registered and/or certified by ARDMS, ARRT, CCI, ARMRIT, CNMT, MQSA and hold an advanced imaging credential.
• License required if required by state.
• To qualify for II a minimum of two additional registries or certifications OR one additional registry or certification with a bachelor degree or higher.
• Current and valid BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Experience in imaging patients of all ages; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Imaging II, use equipment to visualize internal structures, blood flow and obtain measurements.
• Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Imaging Department through the management of clerical functions and documentation.
• Meets all accreditation and governing body requirements (ICAEL, ICAVL, ACR, JCAHO).
• Performs other duties as required under physician supervision.
