Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in respiratory care (NYS approved).
• New York State Registered Respiratory Therapist license or CRT with CPFT within 1 year.
• Computer competency with Windows-based pulmonary function software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Pulmonary Function Testing (FVL, FVC, Lung Volumes, DLCO, MVV) and validates physician orders.
• Performs Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing and schedules tests accordingly.
• Maintains testing equipment and documents results for interpretation.
• Reviews schedules with Pharmacy to optimize Provocation agent use.
