Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• NBRC registration and NYS Respiratory Therapist license OR CRT with NYS license OR CPFT certification.
• Computer competency with Windows-based pulmonary function software programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of prescribed pulmonary function testing services and coordinate laboratory studies.
• Calibrate and operate laboratory equipment for diagnostic PFT testing.
• Assess patients and manage clinical aerosol delivery and emergency procedures during testing.
• Oversee pulmonary function laboratory operations and staff education.
• Provide instruction to laboratory staff, patients and affiliated personnel.
