Job summary

VNA Care is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant to cover patient visits in the Braintree, Weymouth & Hanover territory. Pay range is $35.00 - $48.08 per hour, with mileage reimbursement. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with flexible options.

The PTA will work independently, delivering therapeutic care to patients and families to restore, promote, or maintain function and minimize the effects of illness or disability.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
• 1 year in acute care setting or comparable work experience.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic care to patients and families focusing on restoring, promoting or maintaining function.
• Work independently as a PTA to support patient progress and outcomes.
