Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home healthcare team in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. Earn up to $50 per visit with flexible scheduling and mileage/licensure reimbursement.

As a PTA with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled physical therapy services in patients’ homes under a licensed Physical Therapist, promoting mobility and independence while enjoying professional development and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts PTA license.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• Afternoon availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform transfer training and instruction in safe mobility techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility strategies, and safety techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, nurses, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physicians, and other members of the care team.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
