Job summary

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home healthcare team in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and competitive compensation per visit.

You will provide skilled PT services in patients’ homes under the direction of a licensed PT, helping improve mobility, safety, and quality of life while collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts PTA license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
• Afternoon availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist with transfer training and safe mobility techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Collaborate with nurses and other care team members.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation.
